About Chad Hrenko (CH)
Educated at West Virginia University in the College of Business and Economics, Chad Hrenko excelled greatly on his way to an undergraduate degree in Accounting. During his time at WVU, Chad pursued and held a vast array of jobs in many industries to gain as much experience as he could. Business and accounting is in his blood, but he couldn’t just stop there. In addition to his accounting and general business classes, he chose to put an emphasis on learning personal finance and investing. This is where the true roots of CH Personal Finance started!
Since his graduation, he has read and studied any material he can find on accounting, personal finance and investing. Knowing where to place your money in order for it to work for you is the hardest part.
Chad also holds an MBA and a Masters degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland. He is currently a registered and licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Maryland with reciprocity in nearby states.

Chad is an avid hockey player, and in his free time laces up his skates to participate in any stick-time or open hockey session he can at one of the local ice rinks. The Washington Capitals is his team of passion.
